Prior to Smedvig, I studied at the University of Pennsylvania and then worked at BCG in New York. After 7 years in the US, I had the opportunity to move back home to London to join Smedvig. I’m lucky I get to help ambitious founders grow their innovative businesses as my job.

What’s the best bit of advice you’ve ever been given?

You can do it all, just not all at the same time.

Why VC?

Finding exciting companies and visionary founders to support and grow is highly rewarding. I also love that the people side and analytical side are both important in this job. In a day you could be meeting with a new founder, running analysis on an interesting company, then heading to an event to meet peers. It’s so varied and there is always something more to learn.
